Aromatics: Ripe green apple, citrus, pear and notes of honey.
Palate: Lively and savoury on the palate, delicious tension and texture. Flavour of apple, lemon and stone fruit with a yeasty creamy feel thanks to the partial malolactic fermentation. Very refreshing wine!
About the wine: Made from 30 year old vines. The grapes are harvested by hand and transported in small boxes to ensure they arrive in optimal quality. In the winery, the grapes are directly pressed (wholebunch), partial malolactic fermentation. Ageing 90% in stainless steel vats and 10% 225 barrels.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 3-4 years.
Service: 10 to 12 degrees C.
Food match: Perfect as an aperitif in Summer. Great also with rich Cheese fondue, aged Beaufort or Comte cheese and with roast chicken.
