Aromatics: Very expressive, whole bunch character on the nose. Fine smokiness from the use of stems during the carbonic maceration, red berries meet a fresh and vibrant earthiness.
Palate: Medium bodied, black and red berries, hips of fruit, crunchy tannins and a lively attitude. Multi-dimensional wine. Fleshy, spicy finish.
About the wine: Naturally made wine from the terroir of "La Ronze" probably one of the best lieu dit in Regnié. Whole bunch vinification. Aged in concrete.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 4-5 years.
Service: 12 to 14 degrees C.
Food match: Terrines, light red meat, grilled meat on the barbecue, grilled fish, charcuterie.
