Palate: Great volume and intensity for this wine. Beautiful texture and concentration thanks to the old vines, we love the tension and minerality in this cuvee with a long elegant finish. A Sancerre full of energy!
About the wine: Hand harvest from more than 50 years old vineyards on clay-limestone or marl (Terres Blanches). The wines are vinified with natural yeast in oak tanks. Natural filtration with the cold, means the wines may present a slight deposit.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 8-10 years after vintage.
Service: 10 to 12 degrees C. We recommend opening the bottle 1 or 2 hours before drinking.
Food match: Scallops, lobster, roasted chicken with mushroom sauce, veal. Fresh and aged goat cheese.
